--[[ ============================================================================ AGENCY MINERJOB V2 · config.lua ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- A mining job in three places: the Davis Quartz quarry, the mine shaft in the hills and the foundry in the city. Players break real rocks with pickaxes and a drill, smelt ore into bars, cut rough gems, take contracts from the foreman and sell on a market whose prices move. Finds QBCore, Qbox or ESX by itself and runs fully standalone without any of them, with or without a database or an inventory. Admins change the most used values in the menu (/mineradmin). Those are saved for the whole server and win over this file until "Reset to config.lua" is pressed. ============================================================================ ]] Config = {} -- ============================================================================= -- 1. 02SQL File

Optional: the resource creates these tables on its own when it starts. Import this file only if you set up the database by hand:

-- Agency-Minerjob V2 -- Optional: the script creates this table by itself on the first start when oxmysql runs. -- Only needed when your database user may not create tables. -- Without oxmysql everything is saved in the server's key value store instead. -- Levels from V1 (player_mining_skills) are taken over on the first start; that table stays untouched. +Good to know

Every option in config.lua does something, in 15 sections from the framework to your own wording. The most used values can also be changed in game on the admin page, for the whole server.

General and Look
Config.Framework, Config.Locale, Config.Debug, Config.Storage, Config.Inventory, Config.Images and Config.UseAgencyNotify choose how the script runs. Config.UI sets the accent colour and the size of the menu.
Keys and Commands
Config.Keys sets the key to interact, E by default. Config.Commands names /miner, /mininglevel and /mineradmin.
Places
Config.Zones holds the seven mining areas with center, radius, lowest level, the foreman and the ores with their weights per level. Config.Foundry places the buyer, the furnaces and the cutting benches. Config.Blips and Config.Markers set the map and the arrows above the rocks.
Items and Tools
Config.Items names every item with its kind and the price range of the market. Config.RequireTool decides whether a tool is needed, and Config.Tools sets price, level, uses, rounds, zone size, extra ore and repair cost of every tool.
Mining and Levels
Config.Mining sets the distance, the difficulty, the minings per rock, the respawn time, the cooldown and the ore per mining. Config.Levels holds the highest level, the XP per mining and the XP curve.
Foundry
Config.Smelting sets the lowest level, the seconds per bar, the queue, the coal per bar and the recipes. Config.Cutting sets level, rounds, difficulty and the chance that a miss breaks the stone.
Contracts and Market
Config.Contracts sets the number of offers, how often they change, the time to deliver, the bonus and the pool of items. Config.Market sets whether prices move, how often and how far, where money is paid to and taken from, and the currency sign.
Admins, Standalone and Texts
Config.Admin names the ACE, groups and identifiers of admins. Config.Standalone connects money and items on servers without a framework. Config.Text overrides any text of the language files.

?Frequently asked questions

What do the settings on the admin page change?

The debug mode, whether a tool is needed, contracts, smelting, cutting, moving prices, the XP and price multipliers, the rock respawn and the minings per rock. They are saved for the whole server and win over config.lua until Reset to config.lua is pressed or minerjob reset runs in the console.

How do I use my own texts?

Put the key from locales/en.lua with your wording into Config.Text, for example Config.Text = { ui_sell_all = 'Sell it all!' }. It wins over every language and survives updates.
