Ping protection
Stop members from @-mentioning your team. Replying to messages always stays allowed.
What is it for?
Stops members from @-mentioning your team or other protected people. Replying to their messages stays allowed, so normal conversations are not affected.Set it up in 3 steps
- 01Switch it on and choose the protected members and roles.
- 02Leave “Replies stay allowed” on, so members can still answer your team.
- 03Optional: send a private hint with your own text and exclude roles that may ping. Save.
TipPoint members to your tickets in the hint text, so they know where to get help instead of pinging.

Who is protected
- Protected members
- Discord user IDs of people who should not be @-mentioned. Right-click a member and copy the user ID (developer mode).
- Protected roles
- Members with these roles are protected, and the roles themselves cannot be pinged either.
- Replies stay allowed
- Replying to a message of a protected member is always fine, even with the reply ping on.
Notice
- Explain by private message
- The sender gets a friendly message with the rule and their original text.
- Own explanation
- Leave empty for the default text.
Exceptions
- Allowed to ping
- Members with these roles may still ping. Moderators always may.
